Not at all. All consultations, case preparation and advice are available online, wherever you are in England and Wales. If you need someone physically present in court, I cover Warwickshire, Worcestershire, West Midlands, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire as well as destinations further afield on request.
Q: What can a McKenzie friend do in court?
A McKenzie friend can sit beside you, take notes, quietly offer advice, and help you follow the proceedings. I’ll make sure you understand what’s happening at every stage.
Q: How much does a McKenzie Friend cost?
My consultations start from £12.50 for 15 minutes. A free 20-minute discovery call is the best place to start - we’ll talk through your situation and work out exactly what level of support you need.
Q: Is a McKenzie Friend the same as a solicitor?
No - a McKenzie friend is not a lawyer and cannot provide legal advice. I offer practical guidance, preparation support and a calm, experienced presence in court. Many people find this is exactly what they need.
